GSPC is formed to execute a 700 MW combined power plant at Pipavav in Amreli district near Birla Cement Plant. This township is developed to provide accommodation to GPPC employees. The space allotted for housing is within the power plant site around 2.5 km from the seashore. The aim is to create a self-sufficient community with state-of-the-art amenities and facilities. Thus, from a dwelling unit to a master plan, the design promotes health, safety, the general welfare of the residents and enhances their quality of life.
