District Hospital, Lunawada

It aims to design a new structure at Lunawada District Hospital which can accommodate 150 beds. The site is located in the outskirts of Lunawada city and has an existing hospital with a facility of OPD, Wards, S.T.I and Laboratory etc. The building layout is designed in such a way that it would allow for simple division of spaces within the structure and the spaces have a clear division of function according to priority. A clear path has been provided for proper legibility. An open atrium space planned in the entrance provides proper light from the north side and cross ventilation takes place due to path-space organization.
