General Hospital, Jamkhambaliya

Proper planning and efficient design are extremely essential for a hospital as it not only enhances practical functioning but help in improved healing experience for the patients. The project aims to design a 150 bedded healthcare facility at Jamkhambhaliya where the emphasis has been given to the functional quality of medical care and provision of an ideal environment for the patients.

Natural light from the glass ceiling and façade through an open to sky space create a sense of openness and calm for the patients and their families. Open atrium spaces provide proper light from the north side and cross ventilation takes place due to path-space organization which additionally helps in maintaining the hygiene by cleaning of impurities and germs.
